Improving Equipment: Introduction
client guide| With the help of a blacksmith, you can use the Embed/Imbue function to improve your equipment. Below is a picture of the Embed/Imbue interface. Imbue: Right-click on a piece of gear and an Ethrelic (an item dropped by monsters) to put them in the slots. The money required will be shown at the bottom of the box. Click confirm to finish the process. If the process is successful, a "+1" will be added to the description of your gear. However, if the process fails, your gear loses a random imbue level, but isn't destroyed. You can purchase Etherlaced Crystals in the Etherbuck Shop (Hotkey "J"), and add it to the Imbue process as an auxiliary material. The crystal increases the success rate of the Imbue process. Stop at feature: As you get more weapons and armors to imbue, it may become quite time consuming to get them to the different levels you want. This "Stop at" feature will allow you to choose the level you wish the item to be and provided you have the materials for the process it will continue to upgrade it until it reaches the specified level. Even if the imbue fails an attempt it will continue to try until it meets the set goal. *WARNING: When initiating the process please only click the start button ONCE as additional clicks will cause the item to have a higher Stop at value. Embed: For Embedding, each weapon has a different number of sockets. Hover your cursor over a weapon to how many times it can be embedded. The Embed process is similar to the Imbue process. Put a weapon and a Gem (an item dropped by monsters which can be refined further) in the slots and click confirm to finish the process. Choose your gem type carefully; only one type of Gem can be embedded in an item. The Embed process will never fail, and incorrectly embedded or low grade Gems can be removed from the weapon without damaging it. Just select Remove Gems, put an embedded weapon in the remove slot, and click "start". The Gems are destroyed in the removal process. *Weapons can be Imbued at any level. Don't hesistate to try it out. *Common gears can be Imbued by common Ethrelics. However, you have to use advanced Ethrelics, for example, the Godly Ethrelic, to Imbue elite gears. |
